- West Coast Hot Sauce Experience has announced San Diego’s 1st Official DAD BOD Handsome Pageant, to be held at the festival on Sunday, 18 June, to celebrate Father’s Day.
- League of Fire has released a poster for Jif ‘The Fireman’ D’Aguanno who will be taking on a whopping 20 League of Fire Presents The Killer Queen Chug Challenge 2 back-to-back for a LOF World Record attempt on 15 April 2023, at 9 PM BST on League of Fire YouTube and Facebook. Jif will need to do 14 to beat the current WR of 13 held by ‘Broken’ Charlie Whitmore since 18 January 2023.
- Kris ‘The Scoville Unit’ Fragale has announced that he will be aiming for the World Record for Chug Challenge v1 by League of Fire on 11 April 2023, at 11 PM BST on The Scoville Unit LLC YouTube and Facebook. Kris plans to do 14 to beat the current WR of 12 held by me since 15 August 2020.
- League of Fire Challenge Group on Facebook drew the winner to be Zachary ‘The Texas Hot Spot’ Goot for the competition to win the now discontinued and much sought-after BITES Challenge by Hot Dang Show.
- Chillifair.eu has announced that the Extreme Hot HAMburger Eating Contest will return for the second year on 24 June 2023, in Ham, Belgium. This will be a ramped up version and will have 2 burgers with Reapers in them, a Reaper hot sauce and bacon baked in a Reaper relish. First to finish will be crowned champion and win a trophy.
- Late For Work is bringing out 3 brand new challenges which will have league tables in League of Fire.
- League of Fire held a Special LIVE to reveal the brand new Chug LIFE – The Berry One Challenge by League of Fire to hit The LOF SHOP soon. Paul ‘The Bhut’ Ouro, Jif ‘The Fireman’ D’Aguanno, Katie ‘Beyond Seattle Eats’ Prettyman, and Patrick ‘Lefteyepat’ Wiess tested and evaluated the product in a LIVE first. The Berry One is made by Chilli Bobs.
- Mr. Brad Worden has become the first person in the world (outside of LOF Testing Group) to attempt and successfully complete the Maddy’s Holy Cowlick Challenge by Harvest912. He ate 1 lolly and earned 8 points.
- Broome Lotteries House has issued a Save the Date for the 5th Annual Broome Chilli Festival as 23 and 24 September 2023.
- Trouble Bubble Bubble Gum Challenge by CaJohns Fiery Foods was in the press in the USA as several students were taken to hospitals after trying the challenge. It is strictly an over 18s challenge and should not be allowed to be bought by youngsters who may panic not knowing or understanding the pain they are experiencing which is a normal effect of any spicy challenge.
- League of Fire has released the Official Belt Match Poster for the World Title Belt Match between Americas Champion Mike ‘The Molten Moose’ Jack and Oceania Champion Greg ‘Iron Guts’ Barlow, taking place at the at the 8th Annual NZ Hot Sauce Festival on 27 May 2023, in Auckland, NZ.
- League of Fire has revealed at the launch of the Official World Title Belt Match Poster that US-based Harvest 912 and Wales-based Chilli of the Valley will be the hot sauce sponsors, and NZ-based Fire Dragon Chillies will be the pepper sponsors for this match.
- Fulham Palace House & Garden has announced its Chilli Fest 2023 will take place on 10 September 2023, at Fulham Palace, London, UK. There will be a chilli-eating competition for those interested.
- Katie ‘Saucy’ Bannister has revealed a hot sauce collaboration with Mikey V’s Foods called Moroccan Madness which can only be bought from Mikey V’s and KTB’s Capsaicin Cave.
- Heatseeker Hot Sauce Festival is taking place on 13 May 2023, in Downton Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
- NZ Chilli Eating Champs has found a winner at the Dunedin Heat – William ‘Viking Chilli Slayer’ Lindekilde, who beat 10 other contestants. It was held at Dish Bar + Cafe in Dunedin on 6 April 2023. William will now have a seat at the 13th Annual NZ Chilli Eating Champs Finale at the 8th Annual NZ Hot Sauce Festival to decide the ultimate Champion who will win the League of Fire Oceania Belt on 27 May 2023, in Auckland, NZ.
- NZ Chilli Eating Champs has found a winner at the Hokianga Heat – Kowhai-leigh Taurua, who beat 5 other contestants. It was held at Opononi Hotel in Hokianga on 8 April 2023. Kowhai-leigh will now have a seat at the 13th Annual NZ Chilli Eating Champs Finale at the 8th Annual NZ Hot Sauce Festival to decide the ultimate Champion who will win the League of Fire Oceania Belt on 27 May 2023, in Auckland, NZ.
- League of Fire got a mention in Cook Islands News newspaper along with 3-time NZ Champion and former League of Fire Oceania Champion Jesse Painter.
- League of Fire~Fierce Fiery Queens Facebook Group has announced a group event LIVE is set for 15 April 2023 at 6 PM BST, on League of Fire YouTube and Facebook, where they will be attempting The Scoville Slammer Chug Challenge by League of Fire Presents.
